New Liskeard Lions pledged $60,000 to Temiskaming Hospital Foundation to be donated within five years. With this donation of $7250 New Liskeard Lions have fulfilled their pledge to the hospital and the community it serves. On Jan 6, 2023 New Liskeard Lions club representing PDG Alf O’Reilly, Bill Brookfield, and President Manju Dangalle present Ron Bumstead with this certificate of appreciation for his support to the club over the past 20 years.
Sir Eric Campsall, as the longest standing member in the New Liskeard Lions Club, and to recognize his service rendered to the club for last 75 years, is awarded with 2023 Lions Club International Centennial Membership Recognition Award and pin at a ceremony Feb9th, 2023. President Manju Dangalle is handing over his certificate. Lion Eric joined the New Liskeard Lions club in 1947.

The New Liskeard Lions Club made a cheque presentation to Temiskaming Hospital Foundation. The Lions have made a pledge to donate $60,000.00 to the Hospital Foundation over a 5 year period. This is the first installment payment for 2019. About the New Liskeard Lions

New Liskeard Lions Club has been in existence since 1945 and have raised over $3,000,000 through their many Fund Raising Projects and have returned this entire amount back into the Community. The Club meets every 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6:30 from September through to the end of June in the Lions Den at the New Liskeard Community Hall, 90 Whitewood Avenue, New Liskeard.

Lion Eric is the longest standing member in the New Liskeard Lions Club to receive the Centennial award in recognition of his services rendered to the club. Lion Eric joined the New Liskeard Lions club in 1947. This is a very significant award during LCI 100 year anniversary. Lions Clubs International recognizes Lion members with this special centennial award recognize milestones and service of services rendered to Lions.
